Privacy Policy of mensiva.it
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This privacy policy describes how personal data of users who consult the website mensiva.it (hereinafter referred to as “Site”) and the associated mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “App”) is collected, used, and protected.
This policy is drafted in compliance with the obligations laid down by EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data Controller
The Data Controller for the data collected through this Site and the related App is:
Data Controller: Andrea Maffei (Founder of mensiva.it)
Website: https://mensiva.it
Email Contact: info@mensiva.it
2. Types of Data Collected
The Site collects personal data in two ways: directly provided by the user or automatically during navigation.
A. Data voluntarily provided by the user
Contact Form: On the contact page, the user can send explicit messages. The data requested and collected is limited to Name and Email, in addition to the content of the message itself.
B. Automatically collected data (Navigation and tracking data)
Navigation data: Computer systems acquire certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of the request).
Cookies and tracking identifiers: The Site and the App use identifiers for statistical purposes and for the delivery of advertisements.
The Site DOES NOT provide for user registration, DOES NOT offer the creation of personal accounts, and DOES NOT manage the sending of newsletters. Any external blog sections are hosted on third-party and free platforms, subject to their respective privacy policies.
3. Purposes of Processing and Legal Basis
Data is processed for the following purposes:
- Responding to user requests: The data entered in the contact form is used exclusively to follow up on messages received. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Data Controller and performance of pre-contractual measures.
- Monetization and Advertising: Displaying personalized or non-personalized advertisements within the Site and the App. Legal basis: Explicit consent of the user collected through a specific banner.
- Statistics and Traffic Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing web traffic to improve the user experience. Legal basis: Consent or legitimate interest depending on the tool configuration.
4. Third-Party Tools Integrated into the Site
For some features to function properly, the Site makes use of third-party providers that may process data on our behalf or independently:
Formspree (Contact Form Management): The contact form forwards messages through the Formspree service. The data (Name, Email, Message) is transferred to Formspree’s servers to allow the notification to be sent to the Data Controller. Please consult the Formspree Privacy Policy for further details.
Google AdSense and Google AdMob (Advertising): The Site and the App integrate Google’s advertising networks to show ads. For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, consent is managed through a certified consent management platform (Google CMP), which offers 3 clear options (Accept, Do Not Accept, Manage options). Refusing consent will result in the display of non-personalized ads and the absence of advertising profiling cookies.
Social Network Widgets (Facebook and Instagram): The Site integrates widgets or connection buttons dedicated to Facebook and Instagram. These elements may collect traffic data for the pages where they are installed, even if the user does not actively use the service. Please refer to Meta Platforms Inc.’s privacy policies for details.
5. Place and Methods of Processing
Data is processed mainly through automated computer tools, with logics strictly related to the purposes indicated and with appropriate security measures to prevent data loss, illicit uses, or unauthorized access. Data collected through Formspree or Google may be transferred and stored on servers located outside the European Union (e.g., United States), based on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Data Retention Period
Data received through the contact form (Formspree) is kept for the time strictly necessary to manage the user’s request and for any subsequent professional or informational contacts.
Tracking and advertising data follows the standard deadlines set by the respective providers (Google) or until consent is revoked by the user.
7. User Rights (GDPR)
At any time, users residing in the European Union have the right to exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR:
Access to their personal data.
Rectification or erasure of the same.
Restriction of or opposition to processing.
Data portability.
Withdrawal of consent given (via CMP settings or cookie reset links on the Site).
Requests should be addressed via email to the Data Controller indicating “Privacy Request” as the subject line. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority.
